On Monday 25th June I attended the Royal College of Psychiatrists International conference where I presented a poster together with Dr Adrian Heald and Dr Sanam Farnam from Salford Royal Hospital. We spread the word among many leading psychiatrists in the UK who were among the many (well over a thousand) delegates at the International Conference Centre, Birmingham.
Dr Sanam Farnam, Dr Ray Perrin and Dr Adrian Heald next to their poster presentation showing that post exertion malaise is a feature of CFS/ME and exertion does not improve the symptoms of patients unlike people with disorders such as depression.
Key Note speaker neuroscientist professor Karl Friston addressing the conference.
A huge audience of mostly psychiatrists listen to key note speaker Prof Karl Friston.
