Join The Academy of Nutritional Medicine (AONM) for an insightful lecture with Dr. Raymond Perrin DO PhD!
Tuesday, April 1, 2025
19:00 BST (British Summer Time), 20:00 CEST (Central European Time), 14:00 EDT (Eastern Time)
Speaker: Dr. Raymond Perrin DO (UK) PhD
Dr. Perrin will explore how his pioneering diagnostic and treatment techniques, developed for ME/CFS and fibromyalgia, also support patients with Long COVID. He’ll explain how disruptions in the neuro-lymphatic (glymphatic) system impact brain and spinal drainage—and how improving this process can aid recovery.
A great opportunity to deepen your understanding of the science behind The Perrin Technique!
Our first UK workshop of 2025 took place at The Perrin Clinic in Prestwich, Manchester from 23rd to 25th February which saw the addition of 5 newly licensed Perrin Technique practitioners! A very warm welcome to:
Nat, Motoko, Dr. Perrin, Trevor, EydĂs & KristĂn at The Perrin Clinic
A special congratulations to EydĂs and KristĂn, who have now added Iceland to the Perrin Technique map! We are delighted to see Iceland represented and grateful to them both for making the journey to Manchester.
Meanwhile, in the UK, we welcome Trevor, based in Central London, and Nat, who will be practicing in Manchester City Centre. Meanwhile, Motoko practices in Hertfordshire and North London. Welcome to the Perrin Technique family!
We are thrilled to share the success of our very first Perrin Technique workshop in Utah!
Hosted at Myotherapy Massage College in Salt Lake City from January 30th to February 1st, this workshop would not have been possible without the dedication of Perrin Technique Practitioner Rachel Tobler! Rachel was instrumental in bringing this event to Utah and played a crucial role in ensuring its success.

The Academy of Nutritional Medicine (AONM) featured a glowing review of Dr. Ray Perrin’s latest book, Through the Looking Glass: Diagnosing and Treating Long COVID Using the Perrin Technique, in their November newsletter. Described as a “tour-de-force”, the review shares how the book combines cutting-edge research with over three decades of clinical practice, offering invaluable insights for both patients and practitioners. To download the review in full, click the following link:
The AONM review praises the “impressive updated explanation” of how the Perrin Technique works, building on Ray’s groundbreaking 2020 Medical Hypotheses article, which linked disturbances in the neuro-lymphatic drainage to Long COVID and ME/CFS. The review also highlights how the book explores the role of the subarachnoid lymphatic-like membrane (SLYM), describing the publication as both timely and comprehensive.
Interest in Dr. Perrin’s work has surged following coverage in The Telegraph and other media. Since its release on 7th November, Through the Looking Glass sold out within one week due to overwhelming demand, with limited stock now remaining of Dr. Perrin’s other books too (The Perrin Technique: Second Edition and Concise Perrin Technique Handbook)
An article published online in The Telegraph spotlights Dr. Raymond Perrin’s work and the development of the Perrin Technique for ME/CFS and long COVID.
It explores the origins of the technique, discusses the recent major breakthroughs in science which back up the foundations of the Perrin Technique and includes insights from the latest book, Through the Looking Glass.
Prof. Adrian Heald, consultant physician at Salford Royal (part of Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust), adds valuable support from a recognised NHS perspective as he calls for more research into the Perrin Technique and notes the technique’s “positive results” for ME/CFS and long COVID patients:
“We’re increasingly learning about the physiology on which the Perrin Technique is based. The science is slowly catching up with what Dr. Perrin has been proposing as a technique for many years… Anecdotally we have seen positive results in patients with very difficult to treat chronic fatigue/ME who have been seeing Dr Perrin.”

Following its global online publication in November which sparked significant interest, Dr. Perrin’s interview with The Telegraph was also featured in print on 11th January in the UK. This fantastic feature continues to shine a spotlight on the Perrin Technique, helping to spread awareness worldwide.
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Perrin recently featured on the Long Covid Podcast, in a two-part series!
Part 1: Breakthroughs in the Lymphatic System In the first episode, Ray discusses the intricate connections between the sympathetic nervous system and chronic conditions like Long COVID and ME/CFS and emphasises the importance of understanding the body’s drainage systems to promote healing and recovery. Key topics include:
The discovery of the lymphatic system and its implications.
The connection between Long COVID, ME/CFS, and toxic buildup in the brain.
Overview of treatment methodologies and their effectiveness.
In the second episode, Dr. Perrin explores how the Perrin Technique can help alleviate symptoms and support long-term recovery. He shares compelling case studies and clinical insights, covering topics such as:
Diagnostic methods for identifying Long COVID symptoms.
Our first Perrin Technique workshop of 2025, held from 24th – 26th January, saw a change in venue due to the devastating wildfires in Beverly Hills. We’re incredibly grateful to newly licensed Perrin Technique Practitioner Belinda McDonald for stepping in at the last minute to host us at her fantastic clinic Signature Physical Therapy in San Clemente.
It was a hugely successful workshop, bringing together a very knowledgable, experienced group of practitioners – it was a delight to welcome them to the Perrin Technique class:
Aaron Orpelli Belinda McDonald Cindy Roberts Colleen Jamieson Crystal Bennett Daphne Mosko Deborah Crawford Gary Strauss Gina Anderson Kanpiwat ‘MJ’ Himacharoen Kimby Maxson Laine Miller Lori Relph Megan Barragatto Nancy Lopez Rana Rand Susan Jeffries Tina Shin Tracy Griffiths
A huge heartfelt thank you goes to Melinda Bassett and Perrin Technique Practitioner Leslyn Keith for their tireless efforts in organising the workshop, and to Perrin Technique Practitioner Kristine King, who is undertaking the Advanced Course 2025-2026, for assisting Dr. Perrin over the weekend.
Always a joy to see familiar faces! Dr. Perrin alongside Perrin Technique Practitioners Michelle Sanderson and Kristine King
We were delighted to welcome back Perrin Technique Practitioner Michelle Sanderson to the three-day workshop, attending for the second time to stay on top of the latest research and updates from Dr. Perrin—a testament to her commitment to the Perrin Technique!
As part of Dr. Perrin’s commitment to supporting the community, a portion of the workshop funds was donated to the wildfire relief efforts in the Beverly Hills area.
