DR PERRIN TO SPEAK AT IPM CONGRESS

The Integrative & Personalised Medicine (IPM) Congress 2026 will take place from 18–20 June 2026 at the QEII Centre in London, UK. It is one of Europe’s leading events in integrative and whole-person healthcare, bringing together thousands of clinicians, researchers, and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines focused on advancing personalised and evidence-based medicine.

The Integrative and Personalised Medicine Congress incorporates five conferences over three days; Whole-person Health Conference, Integrative Mental Health Conference, Integrative Oncology Conference, the College of Medicine’s Food on Prescription Conference and Advanced Practitioner Conference.

The Advanced Practitioner Conference caters to experienced clinicians, presenting scientific rigour and the latest developments in functional medicine. It showcases clinical translational research that bridges bench-to-bedside application, supporting advanced evidence-based practice in real-world care.

Speakers include Dr Patrick Hanaway, Dr Kristi Hughes, Dr Raymond Perrin, Dr Carolyn McMakin Dr Indra Barathan, Dr Ashok Gupta, Dr Jo Gamble, Prof Paul Dieppe, Dr Rani Bora, Dr Liz Butler and Su Mason PhD, among others. The programme emphasises innovation, complex case management, and multidisciplinary collaboration in advanced healthcare practice.

We are pleased to share that Dr Perrin will be presenting his lecture The Perrin Technique for Neurolymphatic Disorders at this conference, as well as speaking at the Advanced Practice Clinical Strategies Panel alongside Dr Carolyn McMakin, Clinical Director of the Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Clinic, Portland, USA. The panel will look into the application of frequency medicine and neuro lymphatic therapy and the integration of such therapies into the modern day functional/integrative clinic.

Seeking Healthy Volunteers for Research Study – Cambridge UK, 12–15 January

We are looking for healthy control volunteers to match our ME / Long COVID participants for a small pilot study. Participants should be fit and well, do not have ME, Long COVID, or neurological conditions, and are able to go in a scanner.

We are specifically seeking:

✔️Female, aged 18–20

✔️Female, aged 42

✔️Female, aged 50

The study will take place at a research centre in Cambridge, UK between 12th–15th January, and participants will receive free, non-invasive scans (no injections or contrast agents are used). Non-smokers are preferred. Participants will only be needed for a short visit, not a full day. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, though we encourage participants to be within reasonable travel distance of Cambridge.

If you or someone you know is local to the area, fits the criteria, and is happy to attend, please email pr@theperrinclinic.com as soon as possible with: Name, age, contact number & availability.

Although it’s a small study, this work forms part of ongoing research that could play an important role in how ME and Long COVID are better understood, diagnosed, and treated in the future.

Thank you for helping us advance this important research!

NEW RESEARCH SUPPORTS GLYMPHATIC INVOLVEMENT IN ME/CFS

A paper published in International Journal of Molecular Sciences on 27 November 2025 explores “Glymphatic System Dysregulation as a Key Contributor to ME/CFS” – something Dr Perrin first proposed over 35 years ago!

 Int. J. Mol. Sci. 2025, 26(23), 11524;

We believe the ME/CFS medical / scientific community will be interested in seriously considering glymphatic dysfunction an important contributor to its pathophysiology. If so, therapeutics that modulate glymphatic function may also benefit patients with ME/CFS.

– Int. J. Mol. Sci. 2025, 26(23), 11524;
https://doi.org/10.3390/ijms262311524

While the paper does not reference Dr Perrin’s pioneering work, it is another strong sign that the wider scientific community is continuing to validate the fundamentals of the Perrin Technique™.

In this episode, licensed Perrin Technique Practitioners Dr. Amanda Oosterweghel and Dr. Ray Power share how their practices have evolved to meet the growing demand for care among patients with ME/CFS and long COVID.

They discuss:

🧠 How the Perrin Technique has transformed their approach to osteopathic care

🙏 The real difference it’s making for patients’ lives

💡 Why this work continues to inspire both practitioners and patients alike

Amanda also shares a particularly moving patient story – one that brought tears to the eyes of Dr. Raymond Perrin himself when he heard it.
